The sign-up for EH&S training is now done online through the central
campus training website http://www.ted.uci.edu:
- For all UCI students and employees, please go to the website to sign up (you
will need to have a UCI e-mail account). Details on the sessions and where
to find them are below.
- For others, i.e., industry researchers who wish to use the INRF, please just
show up to the training. (You can also email me ahead and I will alert them
about your attendance.)

Details on EH&S training:
Laboratory Core Safety
Audience: Required for all students, staff, and faculty who work in research
laboratories using hazardous materials.
We will review the following workplace safety topics:
- Integrating Safety Into the Workplace
- Ergonomic Awareness, Emergency Preparedness
- Earthquake Safety, Fire Safety, Electrical Safety, Hazard Awareness
- Environmental Stewardship.
In addition, cover safety practices related to the following lab-specific topics: Physical, Chemical, Biological, and Radiation Hazards.
